The Piaggio scooter frame VIN  numbers and VIN data plates are usually located under the seat at the rear.

The numbers are usually stamped on the cross member of the frame and on newer models can be easily viewed through a clear plastic cover.

There is often a tamper proof data build sticker affixed to the inside of the seat that will also list the VIN

On earlier scooters the numbers were often stamped onto a metal lip under the seat or into the body at the rear near the wheel.

​Engine numbers are generally stamped into the engine casing
in the area where it joins the rear wheel.
