BSA Frame/VIN Locations
BSA frame numbers are positioned for older bikes before 1969 on the left side of the frame near the engine mounting bracket.
Later models from about 1970 either side of the frame towards the steering sleeve
Later models the number is located adjacent to the kickstand or on the steering sleeve. Engine numbers can usually be located on the left side of the engine, stamped onto a raised lug
